U.S. Secretary of Energy to Highlight Energy Diversity at Opening of LNG Terminal

WASHINGTON, DC – On Monday, April 21, 2008, U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman will deliver keynote remarks at the opening of the Cheniere Energy Sabine Pass Liquefied Natural Gas Regasification terminal in Cameron Parish, Lousiana – the first domestic onshore regasification terminal to be built in more than 25 years.  Secretary Bodman is expected to highlight the importance of providing greater access to clean and affordable supplies of energy, such as natural gas, to power economic growth, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy security.
