Under Secretary of Energy in West Virginia to Discuss President Bush’s Advanced Energy Initiative

WASHINGTON, DC – On Thursday, October 19, 2006, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Under Secretary David Garman will deliver keynote remarks to the West Virginia Innovative Energy Summit, convened to focus on the production of energy from innovative sources.  Under Secretary Garman is expected to discuss the need for developing renewable and alternative sources of energy to help change the way we power our cars, homes and businesses, the crux of President Bush’s Advanced Energy Initiative.
